Welcome aboard the Shipwreck Tavern, where the hidden treasures of the oceans are on display. Opened in 1965 by famed oceanographer and shipwreck explorer, Captain Barrett Bay, the Tavern’s unique design was created to showcase Bay’s vast collection of salvaged cargo from sunken vessels thought lost forever under the seas.

Welcome aboard the Shipwreck Tavern,

The captain will be serving his fine foods and exotic drinks this fall 2006.
  • Indoor dining room and bar complete with extensive aquariums filled with sharks, moray eels, groupers and other exotic salt water fish.
  • Outdoor dining with authentic tropical tiki bar complete with a large collection of tiki totems and masks from the south seas.
  • Outdoor roof deck and shipwreck bar with beautiful views of Long Island Sound.
