Welcome aboard the Shipwreck Tavern, where the hidden treasures of the oceans are on display. Opened in 1965 by famed oceanographer and shipwreck explorer, Captain Barrett Bay, the Tavern’s unique design was created to showcase Bay’s vast collection of salvaged cargo from sunken vessels thought lost forever under the seas.

Traditional style chowder with chopped clams and stewed vegetables

Tomato and cream base soup served with cognac and lobster-tarragon salad

MOZZARELLA & TOMATO SALAD
Homemade fresh mozzarella and beefsteak tomatoes with extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar.

FRIED CALAMARI
Semolina dusted tender rings of calamari, fried crisp with homemade marinara sauce

STEAMERS
Steamed fresh local soft shell clams served with melted butter

NEW ENGLAND FRIED WHOLE BELLY CLAMS
Freshly shucked New England clams served with cocktail sauce and lemon remoulade

CRAB CAKES
Broiled Maryland style crabmeat served with corn relish and red pepper aioli

GRILLED SHRIMP SKEWERS WITH CITRUS DIP
Garlic, citrus and fresh herbs marinated jumbo shrimp served with citrus dipping sauce

Jumbo chicken wings served with blue cheese dressing and homemade buffalo sauce

Fried shrimp, clams, oysters, and calamari served with tartar sauce

OYSTER ROCKEFELLER
Baked Blue Point oysters served with creamy spinach and pernoid
